Willow Bay - Before and Afters

Now that we've settled in a bit I pulled up the original photos from the inspection report to compare with how our house looks now. I'm so thrilled with how it's all come together!

We still have plenty to do but we're really happy with the progress so far and look forward to never, ever having to move ever, ever again:)

So this is where we part, sweet friend,

And we’re in!!

After what feels like forever we are finally in our beautiful home on Willow Bay Drive! Juneau and I went over to the house first thing and three Sand Hill Cranes welcomed us to the neighborhood!

Juneau found her happy place by the window where she could take in the view:)

Mike gave me the best house warming gift ever - a bird feeder! I can see it from my bed (and just about everywhere in the house since there are so many windows) and we have lots of visitors already:)

It's been so nice to open up all of the boxes from storage finally and start to decorate the place...

I love our new doormat:)

It's quiet and peaceful here and already feels like home. We love it so much:)

Almost there...

Just a week to go until we move into Willow Bay and it still feels like we have so much to do! The contractor has done an amazing job but we still don't have A/C so hopefully that will get fixed this week since it's pretty hot right now! I'm really looking forward to opening up all of the boxes that have been in storage for 6 months and life will be much simpler without a move looming on the horizon for once...

Juneau

Thankfully, Juneau is doing much better after her recent heart trouble. She has a big, brand new special bed waiting for her in the new home:)
