October...
The weather is finally turning a little cooler and we are enjoying the opportunity to appreciate nature even more:)
We have been going to Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive every week and there's always something amazing to see. Caught this Great Blue Heron eating a siren....
And in the neighborhood we have a flock of turkeys that congregate outside our house. Professor Langley is pissed!
Mya is settled into her first year at UCF and gave us a tour of her beautiful campus!
And Professor L is as amazing as ever. He hated his Halloween jacket but absolutely loves his days lounging by the sunny window in my office and laying out on the patio watching the sun set in the evenings. He's the best:)

September...
And so the pandemic continues...I've kept up with my cross-stitching to keep my stress under control:)

And we finished our first dollhouse renovation project!
We went to the Disney Parks again for the first time since we closed:)
Looks like we are going to be in a holding pattern for a while so we need to make the most of this time. Setting some big goals for the rest of the year!

August...
Despite the virus I feel like this month has been a busy one! I took a week off for a much needed break from work and a mini-staycation, Maddy went back to school and Mike has been helping Maddy get moved (and furnished!) and me all set at home since I’m probably going to be working from here for a little while longer. We still love our nature walks and Lu and Olivia joined us one lovely morning!

Dollhouse #1 is finished and now I'm working on #2 to get it ready to donate. I was very proud of my little kitchen:)
We have a new neighbor - a handsome roseate spoonbill:)
Professor Langley is doing great - we love him so much!
And it's time for some healthier eating in case we have to leave the house and squeeze into our jeans again one day...
Hopefully we will be through the worst of this by the end of September...stay safe!

July
It's hard to believe that we are still in the middle of this pandemic and yet life goes on. We had to say goodbye to our precious Chloe this month...
And we have started building and refurbishing doll houses which we will be donating to local children's homes hopefully soon...
So far...
