Mike's Birthday!

For Mike's birthday we went to see West Side Story at the Straz (http://www.strazcenter.org/) in downtown Tampa which he has wanted to see since he was a little boy :). The show was amazing and there was also a really good art festival just outside by the new Children's museum and Art museum. Then we ran into one of my most favorite people in the whole world - Alex! She took us to a really great little restaurant and promised us a full tour of Tampa since we are clearly culturally clueless. Who knew Tampa had so much to offer? We should really leave the burbs more often.

I thought this building was a mosque...it's the University of Tampa apparently. I've only lived here for nearly 14 years...

Outside the museums...

After our 'city mice' excursion we went to Jen's for cake. As usual she didn't dissappoint. Here's the birthday boy stone-cold sober singing 'Happy Birthday' along with the rest of us...

Didn't quite manage to blow out the candles in one puff...
