Maddy is a budding artist!

Maddy's 'lion's mask' picture was selected by the Art department at her school to be displayed at the local county fair. We were so proud of our budding artist! Great job Madison - we love you!

Welcome Chloe and Chef Early!!

We got our two chinchillas from a lady who was looking to rehome them so that she can set up a dog rescue facility. They are both incredibly smart and playful and we are spoiling them rotten:)

40 and Sporty!

Mum and Dad arrived to take care of the Madster so that I could take Mike to Jamaica to celebrate his 40th birthday. We had such a great time!

Mike was thrilled that there were optics in the bedroom...

Here's the reggae band at the hotel singing to an elderly lady. Too cute!

We thought the bassist looked like Osama Bin Laden...

Here's Mike looking youthful at dinner when he was still 39...

Here's Mike on the stage on the first night. He had to follow 6 simple instructions and managed to get eliminated right away. I think the optics in the bedroom had something to do with it :)

Here's Mike on the second night on stage again (the one standing up in the shorts) - this time with his shirt off. I think the bigger optics in the bar had something to do with it this time...

We took a boat trip, the Black River Safari, to see the crocodiles...

Big croc...

Here's a crazy woman who didn't shut her mouth or blouse for the whole tour. Insanity...

Mike having a traditional Jamaican lunch...

We went to YS falls - I don't remember ever seeing a sign that says "No Ganja Smoking." It's hard to believe that it's actually illegal in Jamaica.

Mike at the beautiful YS falls...

Each step has a pool several feet deep that you can zip-line over or rope swing Tarzan style!

Mike taking a dip...

Real life hummingbirds!

We went to the Appleton rum factory where there were peacocks wandering around...

Jamaican sunsets are to die for...

HAPPY 40TH MIKE!!!

We will miss you Cookie Early...

We were very sad to say goodbye to the world's greatest hamster...
