Lion Country Safari

I’ve been meaning to take Mike to Lion Country Safari for a while since Maddy and I had such a good trip there a year or two ago. We headed out on Saturday morning and got there in just a few hours.
The first part is a drive through experience - there are literally hundreds of amazing animals with plenty of habitat to roam...

The animals come so ridiculously close to the car - it's incredible!

After the drive through (which took us a couple of hours since we had our lunch in the car and really took our time to soak it all in) we went to the second part of the park - the walk through experience.

You can feed a bunch of the animals in this section...

But the giraffes are the very best - they are so friendly...:)

We drove through one more time before they closed for the day and went to our fancy hotel for the night. We had splashed out a bit and were right on Jupiter beach which was beautiful. Sadly, the red tide has made it over to this coast too but we weren't planning on swimming and had a lovely time just watching the waves...

We found Blowing Rocks Preserve in the morning and had time for a little walk before heading back:)
